We are exclusively partnering with a rapidly scaling, infrastructure-backed technology platform operating across the Asia Pacific region. The business is a market leader in its sector, extremely well capitalised, and continuing to expand into new markets.
This Sydney-based Senior Director, Corporate Development role sits within the core investment and growth function and reports to a senior executive based offshore. The position has a broad, hands on remit spanning strategy, transactions and capital planning, with significant autonomy and senior-level exposure.
The role is responsible for leading detailed financial analysis across a broad range of capital projects, including customer contracts, real estate acquisitions, partnerships and new market entry initiatives. You will own engagement with institutional capital partners, supporting investment analysis, approvals and the preparation of decision-making materials. The position involves building and overseeing financial models for equity and debt raisings, as well as broader capital planning, and supporting transaction execution across M&A, financings and other corporate development activities. You will also contribute to market expansion strategies spanning greenfield developments, joint ventures and co-investments, while leading and mentoring a small, high-calibre Corporate Development team across Australia and Asia.
The ideal candidate will bring approximately 10+ years of experience across investment banking, private equity, corporate development, strategy or principal investing, with a strong foundation in financial modelling, capital structuring and transaction execution. You will be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and institutional investors and operating in a fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional environment. Prior exposure to infrastructure, TMT, real assets or other capital-intensive businesses is preferred.
