About the Opportunity:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join a high-performing in-house legal team within a leading infrastructure organisation. This is a broad, commercially focused role offering exposure to complex projects, strategic decision-making and senior stakeholders across the business.
About the Role:
Reporting to the General Counsel, you will provide strategic and day-to-day legal advice across a diverse range of areas, supporting both operational and project-driven initiatives. The role combines hands‐on legal work with a strong commercial and advisory focus.
Key responsibilities include:
* Advising on a wide range of commercial contracts and transactions
* Supporting major infrastructure and development projects across their full lifecycle
* Providing guidance on regulatory, compliance and governance matters within a highly regulated environment
* Assisting with property‐related matters, including leasing and development arrangements
* Managing disputes, risk and external counsel
* Partnering closely with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused advice
About You:
You will be a commercially minded lawyer with:
* Around 8+ years' PQE
* Strong experience in commercial, projects and/or property-related work
* Exposure to infrastructure, logistics, or other regulated environments (desirable)
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to provide clear, practical advice
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to operate autonomously
