An exciting opportunity exists within South Eastern Sydney Local Health District for an experienced Part Time Dental Assistant Grade 2- two days per week to join our professional multi-sited, multi-disciplinary Oral Health team.

Provide clinical support and assist with the efficient delivery of a high quality oral Health service to eligible clients in South Eastern Sydney Local Health District.

Selection Criteria:
* Successful completion of a nationally recognised Dental Assisting Certificate course at Certificate Level IV.
* Experience as a Dental Assistant in public oral health.
* Demonstrated knowledge of current infection control principles and practices.
* Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters, commensurate with years of experience.
* Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
* Demonstrated computer skills
* Hold a current Class C License and willingness to travel for work purposes within SESLHD
