About the role:
The Casual Food and Beverage Attendant will deliver smooth bar and venue operations across Saltwater and the Cultural Precinct. Providing friendly service, preparation of drinks, support venue setup and pack-down, and ensure patrons enjoy a safe and welcoming experience are all integral to the role.
What you'll be doing:
* Open and close the venue and bar areas, ensuring spaces are clean and set up for service.
* Set up furniture for functions and conferences.
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, process payments, and check customer ID.
* Monitor and restock bar supplies and report stock issues.
* Clear tables, maintain clean service areas, and support general venue cleanliness.
* Provide excellent customer service for theatre shows, community events, music events, business events, and food and beverage functions.
What you'll bring to the role:
The ideal candidate will align with the City's Values and be able to demonstrate the below competencies:
* A minimum of two years' experience in a customer‐facing hospitality role.
* Availability to work weekends and evenings.
* A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to support the team.
* A passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Pre‐employment requirements:
* Proof of right to work in Australia.
* Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).
Hours and conditions:
This role is casual and the working days and times are expected to vary between day and evening shifts, including weekends.
