We are currently looking to recruit a Qualified Marine Technician to join our crew in the Copper Coast on the Yorke Peninsula.
The successful candidate will need to possess:
* Certificate III in Marine Mechanical Technology or we would consider equivalent motorcycle training and desire to work in the marine industry.
* The ability to problem solve and use initiative.
* Good verbal and written communications skills.
* The ability to work in a team environment and possess a strong work ethic. We would consider a younger person prepared to enter an apprenticeship but would need to be settled and able to commit to a contract.
* Candidates must be willing to engage in ongoing learning and professional development throughout their career.
* Some of this role will be to undertake regular service, diagnostic and maintenance work on vessels and be able to provide customised mechanical and electrical fitting.
A three-month probationary period will apply to this role.
The right candidate will be paid well above award wages dependant on experience and knowledge.
