Role Description
This is an casual on-site position for a Medical Receptionist located in the Newcastle Area. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for managing patient appointments, maintaining medical records, greeting patients, answering phone calls, and providing administrative support to ensure the clinic operates smoothly. Additional responsibilities include understanding and applying medical terminology in patient interactions and coordinating office workflows to deliver an excellent patient experience.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Appointment Scheduling and Phone Etiquette
Solid understanding of Receptionist Duties and experience in customer service roles
Knowledge of Medical Terminology to support patient communication and clinic processes
Experience working in a Medical Office or healthcare setting
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in computer systems and relevant software
