Inside Sales & Product Specialist

Business Contribution

Sales & Product Specialist is an internal role responsible for developing business opportunities to grow distribution sales and support the regions Territory Manager’s in accordance with Enerpac brand, business guidelines and channel policies. The role works with all Enerpac departments to achieve annual growth targets: Product Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain/Sourcing, Finance, Sales Operations, IT, Field Sales, and the Enerpac Executive Office. Work both individually and with the sales team to provide technical sales support in high pressure hydraulics.

What You Will Do

Key Responsibilities

- Preparation and presentation of quotations <$20k to distributors in the Eastern States. Generation and follow up of all <$20k quotations ensuring timely follow‑up and conversion tracking in SFDC
- Develop and deliver quarterly and yearly top line sales results in alignment with regional targets and company objectives.
- Close collaboration with external sales teams to ensure consistent alignment of territory sales strategy and activities is always maintained.
- Work with Territory Manager’s and distributors supporting their sales activities with product support – Identification of RPS Items.
- Drive strategic marketing and selling initiatives to increase customer engagement in both B2B and B2C.
- Identify and prioritise routes to market for 2B, implement strategies that support the development of our relationship with existing 2B distributors.
- Continuously evaluate effectiveness of 2B distribution network and make the required changes to the channel to ensure market growth.
- Provide monthly review of sales numbers, achievements, and activity reports.
- Maintain current knowledge of the marketplace through regular contact with end customers and distributors.
- Maintain company property (laptop, phone, promotional items) in excellent condition.
- Managing Oracle process – pricing, lead time, availability validation.
- Continually update the SalesForce CRM tool to maintain accurate customer information, track quotations, generate sales reports, and analyze regional quote conversions and customer sales data.

General

- Filing of all communications and supporting documentation.
- Liaise effectively with operations, procurement, and finance departments to ensure timely and efficient customer response is maintained at all levels of the business.
- To perform all duties and document in accordance with company audit requirements.

Required Capabilities – What makes you an ideal candidate

- Sales and/or customer service experience.
- A good understanding of the markets served in the region (Mining, O&G;, General Industrial, Infrastructure and Shipbuilding).
- Maintain an attitude and appearance commensurate with that of a thoroughly professional salesperson.
- Ability to work from home, autonomous self‑starter.
- Sufficient competencies or the ability to navigate a technical environment with the support of subject matter experts.
- Ability to communicate effectively among a diverse group of individuals from varying levels within the company and customer organisation.
- Ability to search for solutions, continuous improvement and constantly raise the bar to stretch own and others’ levels of achievement.
- Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office suite, CRM systems and industry databases to generate various reports, develop presentations and data management.
- Inspires and motivates all stakeholders and creates energy.
- Previous experience with working on specific business systems (e.g. Oracle, SalesForce).
- The ability to work in a structured way with a methodical way of thinking.
- The ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and meet commitments both internally and externally.
- Capable of developing a detailed technical understanding of all products and services.

Education And Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years’ experience in Inside Sales, Sales Support or Customer Service. A college diploma or technical degree preferred or a level of experience that supersedes educational qualifications.
- Technical aptitude, understanding Enerpac and Hydratight product, rental & service offering preferred.
