Job Overview
As a Home Visitor Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with women and children in a remote community, providing support and guidance through our voluntary home visiting program. Our Home Visitor Nurses are responsible for developing long-term relationships with women and families, building their skills, confidence, and hope. They work closely with local health teams and the Australian Nurse Family Partnership Program (ANFPP) in Alice Springs to deliver an intensive evidence-based home visiting program.
This role involves working autonomously, managing time effectively, and undertaking home visits in accordance with ANFPP requirements. You will also provide continuity care for individual clients over a 2.5-year period.
The ideal candidate will have current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife, and be willing to undertake and complete all required training and travel interstate if necessary.
Additional Requirements:
* Current NT Driver License
* Ability to travel and work from remote locations
