We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Allied Pinnacle Pty Limited in Macquarie Park, NSW. As our Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and contributing to the overall strategic direction of the business. What you'll be doing
* Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
* Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
* Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision‐making by the senior leadership team
* Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
* Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure the company's financial practices adhere to relevant laws and regulations
* Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high‐performing environment
What we're looking for
* 8+ years of experience in a senior financial management role, preferably within a fast‐paced, growth‐oriented organisation
* Proven ability to prepare and interpret financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
* Excellent problem‐solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
* Robust leadership and people‐management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a team
* Proficient in the use of financial software and reporting tools
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance, with a relevant professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, or equivalent)
