Paediatric Occupational Therapist – Community

Independent Milestones is seeking a passionate and motivated Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing community-based team on the Bellarine Peninsula and across Geelong.
This role is ideal for an OT who values relationship-based practice, strengths-focused support, and meaningful outcomes for children and their families.
You will provide community-based paediatric occupational therapy services, supporting children and young people to develop functional skills, participation, confidence, and independence across home, school, early learning, and community settings.
This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to work within a small, supportive and collaborative allied health environment.
Key responsibilities
* Deliver paediatric OT assessments and intervention in community settings (home, school, childcare, and community environments)
* Support children with developmental delay, disability, sensory processing differences, emotional regulation, self-care, play, and participation
* Collaborate closely with families, educators, and other allied health professionals
* Complete high-quality documentation, reports, and NDIS-related recommendations
* Contribute to goal setting and therapy planning that is strengths-based and family-centred
About you
* Bachelor of Occupational Therapy preferred; applicants with related Bachelor qualifications (e.g. Psychology, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy) are also encouraged to apply as other roles are available
* AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
* Experience or strong interest in paediatrics (new graduates encouraged to apply - a new graduate program is available)
* NDIS experience or willingness to learn
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work independently in the community
* Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
* Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
