We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant with some experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This role is ideal for someone who can work flexibly across the classroom while providing targeted support to children who require additional help. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as Teaching Assistant:
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEN.
Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
Support the development of pupils' social, emotional, and communication skills.
Encourage positive behaviour and independence.
Prepare learning materials and classroom resources as required.
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (school-based SEN experience desirable).
Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills as Teaching Assistant.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow support plans.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
