You'll play a key role in shaping product design direction, driving technical excellence, and supporting continuous improvement across the entire product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead electronic and systems engineering design for residential products
* Manage NPD projects from concept through testing, validation, compliance, manufacturing, and market launch
* Ensure project performance, regulatory compliance, cost targets, and delivery timelines are achieved
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, and external design partners
* Drive continuous improvement through robust technical analysis including DFMEA, SFMEA, and 8D problem‐solving
* Participate in testing, debugging, performance analysis, and design reviews
* Mentor junior engineers while contributing to a strong engineering culture
Skills & Experience
* 7+ years' experience in electronic/electrical product development, ideally within consumer or industrial products
* Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering
* Strong project management capability, including stakeholder engagement, scheduling, and budget control
* Experience working with compliance standards and evaluating product electrical and regulatory requirements
* Confident managing suppliers and manufacturing partners, including China‐based suppliers
* Proficient in MS Project, technical documentation, and engineering reporting
* Hands‐on approach with willingness to participate in testing, field work, and product evaluation
