This role involves engine reconditioning only, including stripping down, inspecting, machining and rebuilding engines.
As a novice in the trade you will gain hands-on experience in a workshop setting with specialized equipment and real engine machining processes.
You will be trained by experienced engineers who possess extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles. They will guide you through various stages such as: stripping down an engine to its component parts; examining each part for any defects or damage; using precision machinery to restore worn components to their original condition and rebuilding the entire unit ready for installation into a vehicle.
