Finisar Australia is not relevant to this job description. This role involves managing the end-to-end supply chain plan activities, including sales and operations planning (S&OP), inventory planning, and production planning.
The planning team is responsible for ensuring capacity is not constrained by material shortages due to planning or process execution.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan and coordinate materials using Oracle Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) and detailed Excel-based plans.
- Manage inventory orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate master data in Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
- Collaborate with the planning team on ad-hoc activities and project support for supply chain analysis and recommendations.
- Provide proactive liaison with other departments to forecast, plan, and meet supply demand requirements.
- Analyze forecast demand and adjust order/demand plans accordingly to optimize operational flexibility and maintain inventory value.
