About the Role
As an Oncology Pharmacy Technician, you'll be part of a dedicated team ensuring patients receive timely and accurate access to cancer-care medications.
Key responsibilities
* Providing high-quality pharmacy services to hospital staff, patients, and customers
* Dispensing and supplying medications for hospital and cancer patients
* Assisting with imprest and pharmacy inventory management
* Delivering and collecting medications to and from hospital wards
* Entering patient-specific data into the pharmacy database
* Assisting with patient account enquiries and resolving issues
* Liaising with hospital staff and associated personnel
* Supporting the pharmacy team with general administrative tasks

* Every Monday & Tuesday: 08:00am -04:00pm

Established in 1994, St John of God Murdoch Hospital has recently undergone extensive redevelopment. The facility now features 507 beds, 16 operating theatres, a new medical centre, cancer centre and Western Australia's largest standalone endoscopy unit.
About You
We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Technician with experience in dispensing within an Australian pharmacy setting. Hospital pharmacy or oncology experience is highly valued but not essential, as full training will be provided to aid your transition into this new space. However, previous experience in pharmacy dispensing is required for a confident start.
Essential requirements:
* Minimum 1-year dispensing experience in an Australian pharmacy
* Australian working rights, valid for at least 12-months from date of employment
* The ability to work autonomously in a team environment
* Ability to work advertised shifts.
Desirable skills & experience:
* Dispensary Technician Certificate or equivalent as recognised by the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
* Experience in hospital and/or oncology pharmacy.
