Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional to provide governance, compliance, and specialist export control advice to our organization.
This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day relationship with regulators and developing effective relationships with relevant stakeholders.
About You
* You will have a strong understanding of export control regulations and be able to advise on compliance matters.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to manage relationships with regulators and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide governance, compliance, and specialist export control advice to the organization.
2. Manage the day-to-day relationship with regulators as required.
3. Develop and maintain effective relationships with relevant stakeholders.
4. Facilitate interactions with government agencies, departments, and regulators on export control regulatory matters.
Requirements
* Design, implement, and continuously improve an Export Control Compliance Program for the organization.
* Conduct regular risk assessments in conjunction with the business to identify actual and potential areas of compliance risk.
* Recommend, develop, and implement additional controls or oversight mechanisms to mitigate compliance risks.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records and advise on regulatory change management activities.
