Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Farm Hand to join our team on a full-time basis.
This is a hands-on and varied role within our busy strawberry farm, which is open to the public for
pick-your-own and also operates a farm gate and retail outlet. The position is central to ensuring the
smooth running of daily farm operations, from field work and logistics to retail presentation and
customer service.
This role is seasonal in nature:
* Summer work is essential, as this is our busiest period and requires full commitment.
* In winter, operations slow down and time off is generally only available during this period. Winter
tasks are focused on maintenance and outdoor tractor work, so experience with machinery is highly
valued.
We can provide training for the right person, but the right attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
are essential.
Above award rates offered.

Winter – maintenance, tractor work, and farm preparation for the upcoming season.
* Compliance & safety – follow safe work practices and maintain a tidy, hazard-free work
environment.
* Other duties as required – flexibility to assist with seasonal and operational needs across the
farm.

* Current forklift licence.
* Strong practical skills and willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.
