Job Description
This is an unusual and highly attractive role - a senior, strategic HR Business Partner position designed from the outset to operate effectively three days per week. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Procurement leaders, working at a genuinely strategic level while also handling complex ER matters and organisational challenges as they arise. This is not an "HR adviser" role compressed into fewer days - it is a senior role with clear scope, autonomy and expectations.
You'll be a trusted advisor to leaders, bringing commercial acumen, calm judgement and practical HR expertise to fast-moving business decisions. Key accountabilities include:
* Acting as the primary HR partner to Melbourne-based commercial leadership
* Providing strategic advice on organisational design, workforce planning and performance
* Coaching leaders through people decisions, leadership challenges and change
* Managing complex ER matters with confidence and sound judgement
* Leading end-to-end recruitment for commercial roles
* Supporting engagement, wellbeing and leadership capability initiatives
* Delivering core HR processes while contributing to broader HR priorities
Successful Applicant
* Proven experience as a Senior HR Business Partner, ideally in FMCG or a commercial environment
* Strong ER capability and confidence handling complex employee matters
* High level of commercial acumen and ability to partner credibly with senior leaders
* Experience operating autonomously and delivering outcomes in a part-time capacity
* Pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with strong stakeholder management skills
* You need to be based in Melbourne and having full working rights
What's on Offer
* Salary package between $160,000 and $180,000 AUD (pro rata)
