Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Fencing Team Leader to join our site delivery teams.
About the Role:
As a Fencing Team Leader, you will take a hands-on leadership role on-site, overseeing fencing installation crews and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. You will work closely with Site Supervisors and Project Managers while leading installers day to day.
This role is suited to an experienced fencing or construction professional who can lead by example, manage small teams, and maintain high standards across commercial sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and supervise fencing installation crews on-site
* Coordinate daily tasks, materials, and labour requirements
* Install high-security fencing, Colorbond fencing, chain wire fencing, panel/landscape fencing, and rural fencing
* Receive, load, and unload fencing materials and equipment
* Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, site instructions, and project schedules
* Liaise with Project Managers and Site Supervisors regarding site requirements and progress
* Monitor quality of workmanship and address issues promptly
* Report damage to materials, tools, or equipment
* Promote and maintain safe work practices at all times
* Travel to project sites as required, including overnight or extended travel for larger projects
About You:
You are an experienced and reliable fencing or construction professional with leadership capability. You take pride in your work, communicate clearly with your team, and maintain a strong safety-focused approach on site.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Demonstrated experience in fencing installation or commercial construction
* Experience leading or supervising small on-site teams
* White Card (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
* Current NSW Driver's Licence
* Ability to work in a physically demanding, site-based role
* Strong communication and coordination skills
* Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability
* Honest, dependable, and professional work ethic
