Delivering facilities at scale, with multiple active sites and more launching, we’re seeking an experienced Site Manager for our $323 million GemLife Lighthouse Bay project in Burnett Heads.
We’re preparing to launch an exciting new site late 2025 / early 2026 and are currently seeking a passionate and experienced commercial construction Site Manager to join the team from day one.

About the Role:
You’ll take the lead on site, managing a team of labourers, plant operators, and contractors to deliver the $20 million stunning commercial resort style amenities on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role is hands-on and dynamic, giving you the chance to drive real outcomes on the ground.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Site planning and documentation preparedness
- Monitoring build progress and providing feedback reports
- Ensuring quality assurance and ITP compliance
- Maintaining accurate site diaries and visual records
- Managing defects and holding trades accountable
- Building team capability and ensuring compliance
- Leading and engaging your team to get the best out of them
- Running weekly coordination meetings and reporting to stakeholders
You’ll be a confident decision-maker, able to identify challenges early, resolve issues quickly, and keep projects on track. We’re looking for someone with a trade background, proven leadership skills, and the ability to build strong relationships across site teams and contractors. If you’re tech-savvy, love problem solving, and get satisfaction from watching empty land transform into vibrant communities, this is the role for you.
- QBCC Supervisor License is essential
- Extensive experience in Commercial construction
- Proven background managing sites efficiently taking into account the health and safety of the teams
- Current Drivers License
- Proactive and action oriented, someone who takes responsibility and delivers the agreed outcomes.
- Trade background essential, preferably in carpentry
- Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to make informed decisions quickly
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Someone who leads by example
- Highly competent in IT and software
- A professional who values quality, accountability, and teamwork
