This is a Process Assistant, Pick PA Back end Days role with Amazon based in Melbourne, VIC, AU Amazon Role Seniority - junior More about the Process Assistant, Pick PA Back end Days role at Amazon We’re seeking for an experienced Process Assistant to join the team at our Fulfillment Center in Dandenong for Day shift. The Process Assistant will support the Area Manager, and will hold responsibilities specific to your process path. Key job responsibilities: - Support and work in Pick and other departments as required, - Helping support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, - Providing coverage for Area Managers, - Providing policy follow-up, attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline), - Tracking and reporting of ATS/labor hours, - Assisting the floor as an associate resource, training associates and verifying SOP compliance, - Ensuring successful area performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performance, - Participating in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacity, - Fully understanding workflow and daily production goals, - Assisting in keeping work area clean and organised, - Identifying and addressing safety hazards within the work area, - Coaching associates to work safely at all times - Referring all job injuries immediately to area manager. - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays - Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required - Experience in team leadership - Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train and assist team members - Experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). - Leadership experience directly managing others, - Experience working within a similar field (manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/large retail) - Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement Acknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
