**About the role**
The **Yard Forklift Operator**is a **Full-Time**position, based at **Thomastown - VIC**. Reporting to the **Yard Supervisor** you will assist with the day to day running of the warehouse & yard activities.
This position will include some manual lifting therefore the need to be physically fit.
**Your hours of work**:Over 45 hours weekly**.**
Monday - Thursday from 6:00am to 4:00pm, Friday from 5:00am-4:00pm.
Saturdays as needed from 5:00am / 6:00am
- 11:00am.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Operating the forklift and carrying out daily checks on forklifts
- Loading trucks with brick packs and insuring they are dispatched safely
- Organising aspects of inwards and outwards goods functions
- Warehouse administrative tasks as required
- Additional general yard stock transfers & movements
- Any other yard duties as required
**About you**:
- A current forklift license with experience - **ESSENTIAL**:
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in a similar role or within a warehouse environment is desirable
- The ability to multitask in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
- Work autonomously & well within a team
- Front end loader licence is advantageous
- High regard for safety
