Assisting butchers with all aspects of preparation, processing and packaging of meat products. Breaking down carcass', boning, trimming and portion control. You will learn safe and hygienic food handling practices, as well as maintain a clean and organized work environment. Customer service will also be part of your role.
We are looking for a person who has a keen interest in the butcher trade and a willingness to learn. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality work. Good communication and customer service skills as well as physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
