Transport Infrastructure Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage, plan, and deliver all Corridor delivery activities resulting in the outcomes of assigned projects.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be instrumental in assisting to oversee, coordinate, monitor, and report on all Corridor delivery activities that meet time, cost, and quality objectives on assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver Bridge component repair & replacement, Slope remediation, and culvert & drainage projects through completion and submission of all deliverables on time and to quality standard as agreed with project managers.
* Prepare, update, and implement Portfolio lists of project works.
* Ensure work is delivered within allocated resources.
* In consultation with your manager, manage contractors and staff who deliver projects.
* Prepare list of deliverables / tasks from each project and transfer to baseline design Schedule.
* Develop delivery phase and interface activities.
* Interface with internal and external design teams for design requirements.
* Liaise with clients, site personnel, and vendors on aspects of the delivery phase and documentation work and organize meetings as required.
* Interface with cross-discipline and external information and documents flow.
* Diagnose design related issues and resolve through documentation or escalation to senior management.
* Comply with all Safety, Environmental, Community, and Quality requirements outlined in policies and management systems and guide other team members to do so.
* Monitor and address design changes and non-conformances.
* Project management activities for maintenance/construction of road infrastructure, structural, corridor, tunnel, and ITS projects.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with:
* Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (Essential).
* 5+ years in civil/infrastructure project delivery.
* Preferred track record in Bridge, slope remediation, or drainage.
* Familiar with all activities involved in setting up project teams and site establishment relating to multidiscipline projects.
* Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and MS Project.
