About the Clinical Facilitator Role:
Job Description
The Clinical Facilitator plays a pivotal role in supporting the advancement of nurses within our healthcare organization. This position involves orientating, mentoring graduate nurses, students, and new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
The Clinical Facilitator is responsible for assisting staff members with training obligations, planning, facilitating, and evaluating learning opportunities in partnership with the Nurse Educator.
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification is mandatory for this position, along with current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practicing certificate.
* A postgraduate qualification in Rehabilitation or clinical education and completion of the Preceptor program would be highly regarded.
