We are seeking a seasoned Asset Management Professional to join our team in a pivotal role that drives business value through expert fleet management.


About the Role

The ideal candidate will support the National Asset Coordinator and National Asset Manager in all operational aspects of daily fleet management, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include managing leased vehicle fleets, registration renewals, roadworthy inspections, and stakeholder approvals.


Key Responsibilities

* Fleet Database Information Management: Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date fleet database information, ensuring timely updates and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Registration Renewals and Roadworthy Inspections: Oversee the renewal process for vehicle registrations and conduct regular roadworthy inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
* Manage General Enquiries from Drivers and Site Contacts: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing general enquiries from drivers and site contacts in a prompt and professional manner.
* Manage Recharge Requests from Leasing Companies: Coordinate recharge requests from leasing companies, obtain necessary approvals, and facilitate timely payments.
* Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analysis tools to interpret and report on key performance indicators, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
* Support Category Management Team: Collaborate with the Category Management team to provide data analytics support and drive category optimization initiatives.
* Process Improvement: Proactively identify areas for process improvement and suggest enhancements to optimize efficiency and productivity.
* Reporting and Liaison: Prepare reports on past events, issues, and trends, and act as a liaison between departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.


Required Skills and Qualifications

* Fleet Management Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet management, including vehicle leasing and dealing with roads and transport authorities.
* Strong Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Decision Making: Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to make informed decisions that drive business outcomes.
* ERP Systems: Proficient in ERP systems, specifically SAP, with experience in various modules.
* Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with strong leadership and customer service skills.
* Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, with the ability to ensure accuracy and completeness in contractual documentation.
* Contract Administration: Experience in contract administration, with the ability to prioritize and manage large volumes of work.
* Computer Literacy: Advanced computer literacy, with expertise in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
