About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to take ownership of our hardware domain and lead the electronics area. In this pivotal role, you will take the lead in designing and building the next generation of our intelligent sensors.
This is a hands‐on, high‐impact position suited to a practical engineer who enjoys owning hardware products end‐to‐end—from schematic capture and PCB layout through to manufacturing. As our Hardware Lead, you will collaborate with a multi‐disciplinary team, mentor junior engineering staff, and shape our long‐term hardware architecture.

Required Skills & Experience
* Education: Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Systems, Mechatronics, or similar.
* Experience: 8+ years professional experience in electronics and hardware systems.
* PCB Design: Strong experience in circuit development and PCB design using Altium.
* Hardware Interfacing: Deep knowledge of sensor interfacing using protocols including SPI, I2C, UART, USB, GPIO, and RS485.
* Hands‐on Skills: Proven ability to debug PCBs, perform SMD hand soldering, and execute PCBA board rework.
* Communications: Experience integrating communication technologies such as LTE, LoRa, WiFi, and Starlink.
* Soft Skills: Excellent English written and verbal communication, with the ability to mentor juniors and collaborate effectively.
Highly Desirable
* Power Systems: Low‐power / battery‐operated system expertise, including solar‐powered systems with lithium batteries and high‐current charging.
* Manufacturing: Experience working directly with component suppliers and contract manufacturers (CMs).
* Testing: Experience with common test equipment such as laboratory power supplies, DC loads, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
* Firmware & Software: Proficiency in Python, C/C++, and Embedded Linux using ARM‐based processors.
* Microcontrollers: Experience in low‐level microprocessor firmware development using C on MSP430 and Atmel devices.
* Software Practices: A sound understanding of firmware development best practices, version control, and documentation.
* Networking: Understanding of TCP/IP networking including VPNs, Firewalls, and Linux Networking.
