RCR Mining Technologies (RCRMT), a proud business unit of NRW Holdings, is seeking an experienced Senior Fabrication Estimator & Project Manager to join our Welshpool OEM team.
This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for estimating, planning and delivering OEM manufacturing and fabrication projects valued between $1M–$15M. About the Role
Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, you will manage the full project lifecycle from tender and estimation through to delivery and close-out, ensuring projects are executed safely, on time and within budget.
You will also lead a small team (3 direct reports) while coordinating closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement and external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead fabrication estimating, planning, execution and delivery
* Develop resource plans, cost estimates and project schedules
* Monitor scope, schedule, budget and quality performance
* Implement project controls and risk mitigation strategies
* Ensure all project documentation and reporting requirements are met
Client & Stakeholder Management
* Act as primary point of contact for clients
* Provide regular progress updates and manage expectations
* Build strong relationships to drive repeat business
* Deliver projects within approved budgets and target margins
* Support contract administration, variations and claims
* Assist with invoicing and milestone payment management
* Contribute to tender reviews and contract assessments
Health, Safety & Environment
* Ensure compliance with RCRMT HSE policies and procedures
* Identify and manage safety risks during project execution
* Promote a strong safety-first culture
About You
You are a commercially astute project professional with strong fabrication estimating experience and a proven ability to deliver complex manufacturing projects.
* 5+ years' project management experience in mining, manufacturing or construction
* Demonstrated delivery of projects valued $1M–$15M
* Experience in budgeting, resource planning and stakeholder engagement
* Current WA Driver's Licence
* Engineering, Construction Management or related qualification (or equivalent experience)
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
* Scheduling experience using MS Project or Primavera P6
