Are you looking for a career in Medical Administration? We are seeking to appoint a full time (minimum 24 hours/week) Medical Administration Clerk for our expanding practice, working between our Taree and Tuncurry offices.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Provide all front desk reception duties
* Schedule appointments and undertake private and Medicare billing
* Assemble data and compile information as directed.
* Produce a variety of correspondence and reports required by the practice
* Organise and expedite the flow of work and initiate any follow-up action.
* File, scan and maintain files.
* Answer phone calls and respond to emails.
* Greet patients upon arrival.
* Collect patients' personal information.
About the candidate
To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate.
* Previous administrative experience is a bonus
* Strong MS Office Suite (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook).
* Strong communication skills (telephone, written and verbal).
* Excellent organisational skills, coupled with high attention to detail.
* Ability to multitask.
* Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
* Strong planning, time management and communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within the practice environment.
* Knowledge of Genie is a bonus.
We will provide on the job training for our software (Genie) and our processes.
