**What will be your role?**
We are seeking a highly experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Maintenance Technician (Electrical focus) on a Full-time basis. The role is mainly involved repairing, inspecting and maintaining the company's electrical power tools, machine calibration and fault finding. You will be joining a tight knit highly skilled team who value workmanship, and a well-established Polyethylene Pipe manufacturer.
**Key task and responsibilities**:
- Routine inspection, testing and repairs of electrical and mechanical systems
- Support the execution of preventative maintenance plans and breakdown maintenance
- Contribute to planning, scheduling and completion of maintenance tasks
- Participating in Safety, Quality and Continuous Improvement activities to enhance workplace
**To be considered you must meet the following criteria**:
- Electrical Trade Certificate or strong relevant experience
- Industrial diagnostic and fault finding experience
- Test and Tag Ticket
- Understanding of Safety systems and processes including Risk Assessments, incident reporting and planned inspections
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
- Flexible, punctual & motivated
- High Risk Work License: Forklift (EWP & Confined Spaces desirable)

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
