**Job Summary/Introduction**:
- Our client, a large QLD Government department is seeking to engage a Talent Acquisition Lead. _
As the Talent Acquisition Lead, you will provide expert advice on contemporary talent acquisition strategies for a wide range of program and project implementation positions, predominantly with a statewide implementation focus.
You will provide leadership to a small team responsible for the talent attraction and retention strategy, talent acquisition, on-boarding and assignment of human resources for the Integrated Workforce Management Program (the Program).
Your collaborative leadership style and talent management expertise will enable you to build positive and productive partnerships across internal and external stakeholder groups and implement talent attraction strategies that will sustain a quality talent pipeline for the duration of the Program.
**This is an initial 6 month fixed term contract role.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide expert advice relating to contemporary talent acquisition strategies
- Implement key elements of the Program Talent Attraction and Retention Strategy with a view to achieving greater efficiencies
- Inspire team members by investing time in building positive and productive relationships, setting clear objectives and providing professional leadership, guidance and support.
- Establish and manage partnerships and work collaboratively with internal human resource management teams
- Proactively engage and communicate with hiring managers and senior management
- Lead continuous improvement activities
**Key competencies**
- Proven ability to provide expert talent acquisition advice and successfully implement talent acquisition strategies
- Demonstrated experience in leadership role managing high volume end-to-end recruitment and human resource management administration functions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence and connect with others and build positive productive working relationships, often remotely.
- Well-developed data analysis skills
- High-level organisation skills with the ability to set and achieve team objectives and manage competing priorities in a dynamic, time critical environment.
