The team advises on the highest profile and most complex disputes in Australia. This is a multi-partner practice with diversity of experience and specialisations, and you will be exposed to a range of high-profile and complex bet-the-company disputes related to white collar crime, regulatory investigations, competition and consumer, insolvency & reconstruction, banking and FS, and managed investments.
The Team
This is a 4 Partner practice and the team is structured such that everyone works with each Partner on a case-by-case basis. This means you will have the opportunity to learn from a variety of internationally recognised Partners and gain experience in a wide spectrum of contentious matters, rather than being siloed to one specialisation and one Partner.
Needless to say, this is a high-performing team with high-performing standards. Career progression is based on meritocracy (really) rather than PQE. There is no old-boys club or lock-step progression, so this position would suit an ambitious practitioner who is performing above their years' experience, who is looking for an environment where they will be recognised and rewarded for the quality and value they bring to the team and to enjoy a faster career progression than in a traditional firm.
