We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Physiotherapist in a rural setting.
You will work autonomously, providing interventions in home and clinic settings, making a real difference to our clients' independence and well-being.
Our multidisciplinary team includes Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, Social Work, and Speech Pathology services, supported by Allied Health Assistants.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Traveling across the region to provide physiotherapy services in home and clinic settings
* Working with clients, carers, and families to provide practical solutions to promote independence and safety at home
* Advising on walking aids, strength, mobility, and balance, and completing home exercise programs
* Delivering group programs
* Developing goals and care plans to assist clients to remain at home and active in their local community
* Working with a diverse range of clients and health conditions
* Participating in student training programs
* Participating in service development and quality improvement initiatives
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) and eligibility for membership of a professional association
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist
* Knowledge of the delivery of Physiotherapy services within home, group, and community settings
* Knowledge of the service system and ability to liaise and advocate across the full spectrum of health and community care
