We have an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Projects Librarian to join our Library Services team!
What You Will Do :
As the Strategic Projects Librarian, you will support the Library Services Coordinator in developing and implementing library services, policies, and collection management strategies. You will lead strategic initiatives that align with our mission and drive community-focused, innovative services. This role offers a collaborative and innovative environment where you'll play a key part in delivering high-quality library experiences to our vibrant community.
What We’re Looking For :
* ALIA (Australian Library and Information Association) accredited undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in library and information studies, with eligibility for professional membership of ALIA at Associate (AALIA) level.
* Current Qld Drivers Licence and ability to drive between all library and business locations to meet operational needs.
* Extensive experience and understanding of public library operations and services.
* Strong project management skills, including planning, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
* Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate complex issues, develop solutions, and create actionable plans.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and contribution to the library leadership team.
* Highly developed written and verbal communication skills for consultation, negotiation, and teamwork.
