About The Role
As a Midwife, you will provide high-quality, culturally respectful care to women and babies through pregnancy, labour, birth, and postnatal periods. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care.
Key Responsibilities Include
Conduct antenatal assessments and high-risk pregnancy screeningProvide care during labour, including monitoring and examinationsDeliver postnatal care and support for mothers and newbornsPerform newborn screening tests and document resultsPromote positive health outcomes for women and families
What You’ll Need
Current AHPRA registration as a MidwifeMinimum three years’ midwifery experienceUnrestricted working rights in AustraliaAbility to work independently and adapt to remote/rural settings
