About the role
* Lead the operational and clinical management of the maternity unit and outreach services.
* Ensure the delivery of safe, evidence-based, woman-centred care across all stages of pregnancy.
* Drive clinical governance and quality improvement to maintain the highest standards of safety.
* Act as a mentor and clinical expert, supporting staff toward endorsed midwife status.
* Manage unit resources, including workforce planning and fiscal responsibilities.
* Foster a culture of cultural safety and health equity within the midwifery team.
About you
* You are a Registered Midwife with current AHPRA registration.
* You hold a relevant postgraduate qualification or are actively working toward one.
* You bring advanced clinical knowledge and a collaborative approach to complex care.
* You are a transformational leader who inspires engagement and professional growth.
* You have experience managing the operational demands of a clinical unit.
* You are deeply committed to providing culturally responsive care for all families.
What we offer
Total remuneration value of up to $173,368 p.a. is comprised of:
* A salary between $139,951 - $151,949 p.a.
* 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
* 17.5% leave loading
