What You'll Be Doing
Lead specialist physiotherapy clinical service provision. Plan and support clinical research, evidence-based practice and quality improvement for the department and across SWSLHD. Lead service development and evaluation, advanced clinical reasoning and practice in management of complex cases, and provide expert consultation and education. Supervise, teach and train Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants and students.

The role includes leading clinical service provision and supervising staff; driving research and education. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership, clinical excellence, and ability to work with diverse patients and teams. The role includes mentoring junior staff and contributing to service development.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist physiotherapy clinical service provision at Level 6.
* Lead clinical research, evidence-based practice and quality improvement for the department and across SWSLHD.
* Lead service development and evaluation; apply advanced reasoning and clinical practice in complex cases.
* Provide expert consultation and education across SWSLHD in the area of specialization.
* Supervise, teach and train Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants and students.
Qualifications
* Post-graduate qualifications and/or demonstrated peer recognition as a specialist through publications and teaching.
* Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.
* Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to build partnerships.
* Extensive clinical specialty knowledge and advanced practice in Neurological, Rehabilitation or Aged Care Physiotherapy.
* Current Authority to Practice as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
* Australian C-Class driver\'s license (including P1 or P2). If licensed in another state, must obtain NSW C-class license within three months of appointment. Learner licenses not permitted.
