About the Role:This role will focus on creating master and operational rosters that are award compliant, efficient, within budget and operationally stable for all services. It will include providing insights and analysis to support effective and timely workforce planning to match supply and demand. As well as ensuring all roster management and operations queries and requests are responded to and addressed positively within agreed time frames, the role will include maintaining time and attendance records with accuracy to enable both correct payment of employees and the claiming of payment for delivery of our disability services.Key Responsibilities:Identification of workforce trends related to seasonality of workforce movementsMonitoring of workforce data across service portfoliosReview and analysis of workforce performance metricsEstablish and publish master and operational rosters for every service ensuring to align with the customer, award, operational and financial needs and parametersActioning of leave and replacementsActioning rostering requirements in support of the onboarding of new employeesIdentification and addressing of roster gaps and challengesActioning temporary shift changes in line with award rules, operational needs, budgets and financial targetsFilling of vacant shifts, including engagement with agency in line with operational needs and financial targetsResponding to queries and requests via phone and email in relation to rosters in line with agreed service levelsContributing to and supporting the continuous improvement of the organisation's culture, policy, teams, processes, systems, training and ways of workingActively participate in the identification, definition and deployment of process, procedure, work practice and/or technology changes that will improve Workforce Planning and Rostering service delivery and performanceDevelop and grow strong partnerships to drive effective service-specific workforce planning and rostersAbout You:Along with excellent attention to detail, multitasking and problem-solving skills, the successful candidate will have:Proven understanding of workforce planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and controlExperience in the development, implementation and management of rostering and resourcing in 24/7 operationsExposure to a similar industry (desirable)Ability to understand and apply Awards and Enterprise AgreementsIntermediate user computer application in MS Office and Excel modelling skillsSound knowledge and experience in business systemsAbility to identify and report on issues/trends in relation to rostering and problem solvingProven ability to understand rostering principles and business rules and how they can influence and impact the organisation and team membersDemonstrable planning and organisational skillsAbility to de-escalate a difficult call and influence outcomes whilst staying resilientProven ability to work collaboratively with external and internal stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to effectively deliver balanced outcomes across customer, financial and workforce perspectivesAbout Us:Benefits include:Salary sacrificing options - take home more pay!Competitive salary - based on experienceFour weeks intensive training and supportive teamWe're people who care.
