Procurement and Contract Management Opportunity
A challenging role has arisen for a Contracts Specialist to join the Commercial team on an initial 6-month contract with extension and permanent opportunities after that.
The successful candidate will be responsible for procurement of large equipment, capital works projects, and goods and services. Key duties include:
- Development of procurement plans for high-risk contracts
- Advice on contract planning for assigned projects
- Preparation of tender documentation and evaluation of tenders
- Participation in negotiation for contract development
- Development of negotiation strategies
- Collaboration with Project Managers to provide procurement assistance with assigned contracts
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Comprehensive experience in procurement and contract management
* Understanding of contract and commercial law
* Extensive knowledge of procurement and contract-related legislation
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
* Excellent computing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft suite
* Negotiation and communication skills
