The Role
* Conduct all regular servicing of equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements.
* Attend site breakdowns or any mechanical issues as required. Both locally in Karratha and at project locations throughout the Pilbara.
* Attend client onboarding and site induction training as required.
* Comply with client safety standards which may include local SWMS, breathalyser testing and enhanced PPE.
* Stay overnight or longer at site camps where required.
* Fabricate parts and work through problems using locally available equipment.
* Provide customer service and breakdown support by phone to clients.
* Attend manufacturer training & update training for new models.
* Manage onsite breakdowns based on 24/7 service as required.
* Report all problems, safety issues, risks, and opportunities to management.
* Maintain stock control (e.g., filters, consumables in vehicle, spare parts).
* Update logbook of plant and maintain service schedule.
* Maintain safe operating conditions of all equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements and company standards.
* Arrange manufacturer assistance for any complex breakdowns or parts replacements.
* Work 5 days a week with some weekend or overtime work.
Requirements
* Elevated Work Platform, Licence for High-Risk Work, EWPA Yellow Card or equivalent.
* Test and Tagging of Portable Electrical Appliances (certificate) advantageous but not essential.
* Minimum 5 years in similar role/s with exposure to elevated work platforms and access hire equipment.
* Mechanically minded, self‑motivated, attention to detail and computer literate.
