Support Worker Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Support Worker to join our dynamic team in Armidale, New South Wales.
About the Position
The successful candidate will work within a team providing services to community care customers.
* Maintaining customer independence in a community setting and providing ongoing domestic, personal, and social support
* Assisting customers with daily living tasks
* Developing and implementing personalized care plans
Key Responsibilities
Domestic Support: Providing assistance with household chores, meal preparation, and cleaning.
Personal Care: Assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility needs.
Social Support: Encouraging social interaction and providing emotional support to customers.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Diploma or Certificate IV in Community Services
* Experience working in a similar role
* Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
* First Aid and CPR certification
* Driving license and access to a reliable vehicle
