We are looking for a National Account Executive - Grocery to work with our team located in Altona.

About the role
In the role of National Account Executive - Grocery, you will report to our General Manager Sales - Retail and enjoy and develop a mix of skills including driving team performance, sales execution strategies, improving the customer experience and internal and external engagement in line with our HSK Ward Vision, Values and Purpose.
Key responsibilities:
- Engage Key Stakeholders, both internally and externally to develop long term relationships to enable mutually beneficial outcomes, such as growth opportunities, referrals and cross selling
- Assist in developing strategic account plans (pipeline management) executing promotional activity, category reviews, trade spend and field team management to deliver profitable growth
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive new product development, growing revenue, market share and increasing margin
- Display active listening and apply consultative selling to uncover customers known and unknown category requirements
- Support the Retail team with cross Customer requirements
- Communicate transparently with internal and external stakeholders to create a cooperative team environment that supports trusted relationships.
Requirements for the role:
- Demonstrated experience working with Retail Key Account Teams, preferably Coles & Woolworths.
- Able to work well under pressure and demonstrate a proven track-record of meeting and exceeding tasks
- Retail Claims and Accruals management
- Experience with GS1 and Bizcaps or similar, and Retail Customer portals
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to effectively keep track of monthly progress in sales and be able to forecast profit margins with strategies of achieving sales metrics.
- Have a Growth Mindset and easily adapt to shifts in priorities and ongoing change
- Strong external stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Understand the real importance of internal stakeholders, and enjoy working collaboratively across teams
