Infection Prevention and Control Nurse Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to provide clinical leadership and guidance around infection prevention and control.
* This includes development of policy/procedures, monitoring IPC practices, managing outbreak situations, conducting regular infection surveillance activities, delivering education to staff, promoting hand hygiene compliance etc.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing with experience in aged care or healthcare settings. They must also possess the ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and public health authorities.
Main Responsibilities:

2. - Outbreak Management- Monitoring & Reporting-
• -Regular Infection Surveillance -Data Collection-
* Monitor Progress- Report Results- Training Provision
To be successful you must hold an IPC foundation course qualification (e.g., ACIPC) or postgraduate qualifications in IPC. A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse is required along with previous experience within an aged care environment
