What we're looking for
We're seeking an experienced Network & Infrastructure professional with strong technical capability and a customer‐focused mindset. You'll bring proven experience supporting and administering complex network environments within a large, multifaceted organisation, along with tertiary qualifications in an IT‐related discipline (CCNA preferred). You'll have sound knowledge of network security, identity management and infrastructure design, with the confidence to work autonomously on high‐severity incidents and provide subject matter expertise when required. Strong communication skills, a proactive approach to continuous improvement and a genuine commitment to service excellence are essential. Exposure to ITIL processes, Linux environments, identity management, scripting and mobile device management platforms will be highly regarded.
What you'll be doing
* Providing network, communications and identity management support to internal and external stakeholders
* Managing network security and identity aspects to ensure performance meets agreed service levels
* Troubleshooting and resolving network and infrastructure incidents in line with Council SLAs
* Provisioning, configuring and supporting network and mobility technologies, including MDM platforms
* Contributing to network architecture design aligned with current and future strategies
* Supporting ICT asset management and infrastructure projects
* Assisting with the design, maintenance and administration of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans
* Performing root cause analysis and providing expert advice on complex network issues
* Working within ITIL frameworks and maintaining accurate records in Council systems
* Building strong relationships through clear communication and outstanding customer service
