We are seeking a Methods Engineer to join our manufacturing site in Victoria.
This role involves providing essential deliverables such as Work Instructions, tooling, method time analysis, and proficient problem-solving to support the production team in achieving manufacturing objectives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing lean methodologies and continuous improvement strategies to meet KPIs related to Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
* Develop industrial deliverables for production, including Work instruction sheets, Lift plans, and Standard Operating Procedures.
* Perform Method Time Analysis (Time Study) to reduce Non-Value Added activities and meet production cost targets.
* Provide technical clarification, problem-solving, and liaison with the train design team to meet delivery commitments.
* Conduct task sequence studies to optimize resource balance on the shop floor.
About the Role
While relevant experience is preferred, we value passion and attitude over experience. We require:
* A university degree in engineering, preferably mechanical, production, or industrial engineering.
* Relevant experience in methods or industrial roles.
* Experience working with 3D CAD software.
