Are you self-motivated, have excellent attention to detail and love working with people? The ACT Government Solicitor is currently seeking applications for a Senior Human Resources Officer. The Human Resources (HR) Officer role will work in collaboration with the existing HR team members to perform a variety of functions to enable the operations of the team and the overall ACTGS business unit. These tasks include providing advice on HR matters, updating and maintaining registers, databases and procedures and coordinating the induction of new staff. These tasks cover areas including recruitment, leave and payroll, learning and development and performance management. So, there is also an opportunity to expand your knowledge in the HR space. Competitive candidates will demonstrate strong organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to acquire a good understanding of relevant legislation.
