Our client located in Reservoir is looking for a production welder (MIG/TIG - aluminium and mild steel) to join the business in their large factory which provides the best in design and manufactured products.
Main duties:
* Collaborate with managers to design and fabricate custom metal projects
* Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine the requirements of a project
* Use a variety of tools and machinery
* Fabricate and assemble components within required tolerances
* Oversee projects from start to finish
* Maintain a safe and organised work environment
To be considered for these roles you must possess the following attributes:-
* Minimum 3 years experience
* Minimum 3 years of MIG/TIG welding experience is required for this position
* High level skill in MIG and TIG welding - aluminum, stainless steel and mild steel
* Recent experience in a production / manufacturing environment
* The ability to interpret technical drawings and to read and understand welding symbols.
* Proven ability to produce work to a high standard
* A strong commitment to safety & all WHS policies
* Candidates must be Australian citizens or permanent residents
