Job Overview
The Business and Finance Manager is accountable to the principal for providing the financial, administrative, physical resource and non‐teaching staff human resource services of the school by the effective and efficient day‐to‐day management and coordination of the school administrative function, which contributes to the achievement of the school's strategic plans and educational outcomes of students.
Responsibilities
* Develop innovative financial and administrative policies and procedures/techniques within the school
* Ensure revenue, expenditure, purchasing and bookkeeping requirements are completed
* Develop and maintain effective personnel management practices associated with recruitment, induction, training and development, team building, job design, and performance management
* Ensure that non‐teaching staff have the requisite skills, knowledge, and tools to perform effectively
* Develop, implement and maintain systems and procedures
Qualifications
* Demonstrate high level professional ability to work effectively and positively, both independently and as part of a team, to achieve desired outcomes under the pressure of competing priorities
* Experience in maintaining effective financial systems and accurate records within timelines, including producing budgets, preparing budget submissions, business cases, financial analysis and managing financial statements
* Demonstrated success in delivering high quality services including coordinating both human and physical resources to achieve project completion
