Indigenous Researcher Position
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a research project focused on social attitudes and allyship towards Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We are seeking a researcher with expertise in psychology, sociology, political science, or Indigenous studies to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and delivering research, contributing to academic publications and presentations, and supporting broader engagement activities associated with the project.
* The researcher will conduct independent and collaborative research aligned with the project's objectives.
* They will contribute to scholarly publications and conference presentations, showcasing their expertise in the field.
* Additionally, they will support ethics, reporting, and coordination tasks related to the project.
Key requirements for this position include:
* A PhD (or near completion) in a relevant discipline such as psychology, sociology, political science, or Indigenous studies.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial for collaboration and effective research delivery.
Experience working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities is highly desirable.
