Clinical Information Administration Services has an exciting opportunity in Surgical Wards team at Townsville University Hospital where you will contribute to delivering exceptional person-centered care to patients, their families and the community.
The Administration Officer plays a crucial role in providing administrative support within a fast-paced hospital environment. As a vital member of the administrative team, you will collaborate with stakeholders to manage and coordinate the day-to-day administrative operations in Surgical Wards and the wider Clinical Information Administration Service. A high level of professionalism and empathy must be maintained while adhering to strict confidentiality guidelines.

This is a temporary part-time position up to 3 months, working 45.6 hours per fortnight. PLEASE NOTE - there is a possibility of an extension not exceeding a total of 12 months.
Role requirements
* This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.

* Salary range: $39.98 - $44.46 p.h. (AO3)
* 4 weeks annual leave (pro rata) with 17.5% loading

The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
* Demonstrated experience and high-level skills using the Microsoft Office 365 suite and corporate/patient information systems and databases.
